I have been receiving emails from 3 training blogs for the last 5 years. The information and knowledge is extremely invaluable. The blogs seem to answer all my questions on using graphics, creating and editing audio, creating outstanding interactive and multi-media presentations, training strategies, seminars and conferences, tools recommendation and tips and tricks, great examples and templates. I am sure there are numerous training and eLearning blogs available today, however, these 3 blogs definitely give me more than enough arsenal to support my quest for eLearning, ID and training knowledge. The 3 blogs that I currently subscribe to are.
Cathy Moore’s Blog – http://blog.cathy-moore.com/
Cathy Moore’s blog provides in-depth knowledge on training design, development along with in-depth information on the phases of training development. The phases of the training lifecycle include, but are not limited to defining the goals of training, analysis of the training objective, prototype development, writing styles, implementation to project management. You can also obtain information on seminars and conferences along with electronic and print resources.
Rapid e-Learning Blog – http://www.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/
The Rapid eLearning blog provides extensive information on the eLearning tools, tricks and tips for Articulate Storyline and PowerPoint. It is hosted by Tom Kuhlman who has 20 years’ experience in the learning and training industry. Tom’s site provides a substantial variety of resources including templates, videos on “How To” perform many eLearning tasks. I love the style and energy of Tom’s blog. It has a lot of character (use of cartoon characters) and the aesthetics appeals to my visual senses. Training resources and a knowledgebase for Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio are a strong focus for this blog. This blog provides outstanding examples of training projects developed using Articulate and PowerPoint products. This blog is a must subscribe for any ID.
Training Industry – http://www.trainingindustry.com/ezine/current-issue/key-trends-for-2014-shifting-to-business-centric-learning.aspx
The Training Industry is an eclectic training knowledgebase that provides resources for corporate training strategies, sales training and coaching, and a host of other training resources for the training enthusiast.
These are some great e-Learning resources. Another very good resource for e-Learning is Kineo.
