About Me

Hello, I’m Leslie Nicole Harmon. I am an Instructional Designer with a passion for creating instructional modules that are engaging and learner focused. My journey as an Instructional Designer began long before the title became chic. I started years ago creating online Help, User Training Guides, FAQ’s and Quick Start Guides (QSG). I eventually transitioned to creating training videos, using Wiki’s and other content management systems to deliver training, and design engaging eLearning courses. Technology has really made the field of ID very exciting with the software tools that provide the ability to stretch your imagination to the power of your creative intentions.

I am proficient in the application of the ADDIE model as a learning and instructional development methodology, conducting scholarly research, development of storyboards and writing ABCD objectives (represents audience, behavior, condition, and degree)  along with the application of the adult learning theories. I have experience in the development and facilitation of Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses and LMS course development. I am proficient in Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 2, Camtasia, the use of graphic design tools and HTML editors. I have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as project coordinator experience. I am eager and open to accepting instructional designer, and learning and development challenges to meet the objectives of the learner and deliver an ROI for the organization.
